As open government gained momentum, coworking hubs for collaboration started emerging worldwide.\n\nProfessionals—researchers, technologists, journalists, and more—came together to work on shared goals of transparency and accountability. This model of co-location and collaboration showed great promise.\n\nIn 2013, Global Integrity and Development Gateway launched the first version of Open Gov Hub at the OAS building. By April 1, 2014, the Hub moved into its current 20,000 sq ft space in downtown D.C.\n\nSince then, our community, programs, and impact have grown significantly.
